Photo from the past workshop at Art Box

Love your website. I have been working in Connecticut this summer but
will be back home to Belize in Dec. and wished I could have joined your
workshop. I have had Tribal Arts in Hopkins since 1998 and we started with
coconut reef fish. I have been doing small watercolor paintings since it
is so hard to get oil paints in Belize. Do you know where to buy oil paints of good quality there or in Yucatan? I would sincerely like to know. Hope to visit the Art Box soon. Donna
Hi Donna, the best place to buy oil paint..well the closes place is an art store in Chetumal Mexico.
So I usually get my stuff via Sterling freight…last time I get a shipment of around 800 dollar BZ of stuff and it costs me around 100 tax plus shipping fees.
I guess it’s still a bargain given the fact that when you order stuff from blick art material..they don’t charge you shipping fee if the total costs is above 200 US dollar….
If you are interested in the workshop please leave me your contact information using the contact form under “About Joseph” tab; I will give more detail about my future workshop soon.
Hope I can meet you there.
